LOST CAUSE
A new play in development.
A southern Civil War reenactor, on the brink of realizing his dream of portraying Robert E. Lee, is unexpectedly forced to confront the secrets of his past.
This is a play a group of friends and I have been thinking about for at least a couple years. Originally conceived as a Grant-Lee sort of project to coincide with the sesquicentennial of the Civil War, the play has morphed into an examination of many of the tensions that are the legacy of that conflict. I’m in the midst of the seventh draft, and we’re hoping to begin submitting the play (or workshopping it) soon.

GRAY GUS AND THE COLORBUG
Little Gus’ world is nothing but gray until he encounters what he mistakenly thinks is a slug. Nope…it’s a colorbug. A vibrant transformation is in this rhyming children’s story. Currently looking for a literary agent to help me get this story (and others) out into the world.

Holy Moly! When you get a draft you’re comfortable sending, let me see it. also …. Tom Key would sure be a good candidate for a peek. Miss talking to you. curt c.
Regarding the Colorbug…”You have to write the book that wants to be written. And if the book will be too difficult for grown-ups, then you write it for children.” -Madeleine L’Engle
