On Monday night, October 15th, looks like I’ll be sitting in on a panel discussion of “The Artist’s Life” at The Kindling’s Muse @ Hale’s Ales Brewery and Pub (4301 Leary Way NW — at the center of the universe in Seattle’s Fremont District.) If you don’t know about The Kindling’s Muse, it’s an attempt to create “hospitable, intelligent” conversation about topics related to the intersection of Christian faith and ideas, art, and culture. The brainchild of author and former radio-host Dick Staub, The Kindling’s Muse has been a wealth of thoughtful and challenging conversations over the past couple of years, and I hope our talk that night will be helpful as well. I’m sure I’ll say the same old things I always say, but if you’ve been following the blog at all, you know things are changing for me, so there may be some new thoughts as well.
Reservations are required. (I think you email kindlingsmuse@gmail.com) Doors open at 6:15PM. Space is limited to 55 people per week and reservations are required. $5 cover (students free).
See you there…
Can’t wait to hear what you have to say. I’ll be listening.
